Hello, So nice of you to have a web page and make mention of your location at Hayden & Indian School! I lived in Scottsdale in the late 50's through the 60's and used to cut through your farm land on my way to OLPH from our Hallcraft home at Granite Reef & Indian School. My borther & I and our friends used to play in what we all called Schrader's Pond right there at the corner and right across the street from the shopping center with TG&Y, Hobby House etc. Having been away from the valley for years and just returned in 2007, I had the chance to visit old haunts and see that Schrader's Pond is all filled in and covered in grass and a park. Nice but not what we grew up with, trying to catch guppies and crawdads in the mud of that old pond. Also my mother worked at the International House of Pancakes (Scottsdale & Indian School) back then and would meet the Schraders of the day when they dropped in for a meal. Again, thanks for the web site and please say Hi to anyone still around in the family that remembers us local boys playing on your land! Jim Beaudin moved back and now in Buckeye, Az
